Director & Producer
Richard King
Richard King is a Sydney-based Director and Producer with over 12 years’ experience in the film and media industry.
Throughout his career, Richard has worked for some of Australia’s largest broadcasters – Foxtel, ABC and SBS – editing, producing and directing documentaries and television shows.
An early highlight of Richard’s career was working alongside one of the world’s greatest directors, Francis Ford Coppola (most famous for his movies The Godfather and Apocalypse Now), in Coppola’s San Francisco-based production company.
Having learnt from the very best, Richard used his production knowledge to set up his own video production company, King Creatives, in 2012. He leads a team of talented media professionals to create videos and animations that educate, inform and influence audiences. Richard guides his clients through each step of the production process, from the first consultation to the final product, to make sure the content is engaging, effective and professional.
